Chicago 2015

St. James Cathedral

NAVE Voices contributed the Choral Prelude and was the guest choir for the Worship Service Sunday, September 20. NAVE Voices also appeared in concert the night before on Saturday, September 19.

With musicians from eight states and the District of Columbia, NAVE is one of the country’s newest choirs, formed in 2012 and performing throughout the US to critical acclaim. The brain-child of Dr. Bonnie Borshay Sneed, who conducted most of these singers when they were in college, the singers come from a wide variety of backgrounds, including choral conductors, voice teachers, full-time mothers, a NASA engineer, a Medieval philosopher, and a physicist. The concert will be a program of sacred and secular music.
